We welcome all levels of contribution, but many of us have had careers that enable us to give back more to ensure a healthy future for the next generation. Those who comprise the steering committee contributed at a level of at least $1000, those at the host level contributed at least at the $1000 level, and those those contributing at the co-host level contributed at the $500 to $999 level.

We convened a virtual fundraising rally on Thursday, October 13th at 8:00 p.m. eastern, 5:00 p.m. pacific. Representative Rosa DeLauro, chair of the House appropriations committee and a champion for children and families, described the importance of this election to our children and future. Speaker Nancy Pelosi provided a special welcome. George Askew, Libby Doggett, Hiro Yoshikawa, Charles Bruner, and Jennifer-Park Park-Jadotte introduced the speakers and described the goals of child and family advocates in electing a "freshman class for the future."
